I honestly did think the documentary was true. But I didn't care, because I was barely in my 20s, could eat and drink anything I wanted, and not gain any weight. But I also was going to school and was semi-physical. Then when I hit 30, and was mostly sedentary, and still tried to eat the same as I had the previous 30 years, I started putting on the pounds. So it was never about shit food. It was about moderation and "exercise" (don't have to work out, just don't be on your ass for extended periods). I do miss the super-sized fries though. BUT if they were around today, they alone would cost more than an entire super-sized meal when this documentary came out.

I think it’s a great business. Besides the unwelcome advances and quid pro quo the business should’ve never been halted. People own their bodies, they want to indulge let them. What’s to stop them from just making the same food at home?

"so called /good/ cholesterol" That's such a weird line; like, yes? That's what it's called? You didn't coach your use of cholesterol when talking about bad cholesterol, at any point. Very weird.

I live in a small city in the Midwestern US. When I first moved here in the mid-00's there was actually a Shasta soda machine in the entryway of one of our grocery stores. It was gone within just a few years, and IIRC replaced with a Coke machine. I haven't seen Shasta soda anywhere in the city since then. I remember that it was significantly cheaper then the big name soda brands (I believe 75 cents at the time), and it tasted cheaper too. It wasn't bad soda, but it certainly wasn't a threat to Coke or Pepsi. If you can find a place that sells 12 packs of the stuff, I'd say it's not a bad choice if you're looking to save a couple bucks or just try something different. After watching this video, I'm surprised to learn about how many things Shasta did first! You'd think they'd be a bigger deal with all those innovations.

I’m sorry, but I don’t care how novel they are but beanboozled and Bertie Botts are the most dumbest candy inventions of jelly beans . Because none of these are even real flavors, and isn’t even food. Why would you want to eat earwax whose going around thinking “Hmm,I think I want earwax flavored candy” 🤮

When I was a kid, we couldn’t afford name brand foods….. we often had Shasta products. Also, it was forbidden in my house to use swear words…… so I would say “Shasta Twist” as a swear word, instead.

That jerk is the reason Super Size fries are gone. Their fries are great when fresh! And of course he pretends that he had bad effects after his McDonalds month, that's the result he wanted to show. I saw the clip of him struggling to eat a meal over the course of like an hour while sitting in his car, complaining he was short of breath and it was hard to finish everything. Never bothered with seeing the whole thing based on that over-acting. No one goes to McDs for 3 meals per day either. Glad this guy faded away.

My favorites are the Jelly belly “flops“. All the discarded sizes that they kick back for visual aesthetics. Could easily find them in the discount stores like ‘big lots’ for roughly about three dollars per big bag. I think it’s somewhere around five dollars nowadays. Very much worth the cost.

I have transient yellow 5 allergy. I discovered this the first time I drank sunny d. it was a hot summer day, my cousins were visiting, one handed me the bottle, I had legit one sip. 5 minutes go by as they're about to leave and I feel funny, a little rumble in my tummy. suddenly, I launch a full gallon of neon orange liquid out of my mouth like the exorcist, clearing 10 feet. some years I'm fine with dye, others I have issues. it's crazy.

Unfortunately Dave wasn't cold in his grave when the Suits bagan to make changes. First they changed their delicious fries, then they got rid of the original buns in favor of the Classic" buns which tasted odd to me. They finally brought back the original bun but for the junior burger only. Then the suits destroyed the company by changing the iconic burger patty! I can't even eat one of their burgers today witout literally getting sick! 😢 I don't know what's in their new "processed" patties but whatever it is, my body totally rejects it. I've tried three times at three different locations over the past three years and everytime, I've had to throw up afterwards. The texture's different and they look too perfect. Wendy's won't even talk to me about it. Wendy's used to be my favorite burger but sadly, it isn't anyore. 😔🇨🇦

Lmaooo people telling the guy who is literally saying “my food will kill you” that “your food will kill people” is hilarious. Buddy isn’t hiding it. It’s not his fault people are crazy enough to go despite the obvious risks. And sure there’s an argument for him to not offer the service in the first place, but… if someone really wants to eat that much food then they will. The secret Coke formula thing is a red herring. The formula has been known for a few years. The secret is that it's a complicated recipe and Coke has mastered making it for the lowest cost. A competitor could make a cloned drink but nobody can sell it for less than Coke. No customer is going to pay more than Coke prices for a Coke copy. That's why nobody copies it. It's not profitable. Not because it can't be done.
